Performance Exhaust on 82 El Camino

We split the exhaust right after the cat and used DT mufflers which sounded great. We ran full tailpipes over axle out the side. Looks and sounds great. Ace(Chris)

New Chevy performance exhaust

We installed a 2 chamber Flowmaster with a mandrel 3 inch tailpipe with a nice polished stainless steel 4 inch tip.Sounded great.Chris

The original 430 mid pipe is restrictive form the y pipe back as you can see in the photos.We use a 2 1/2 inch y pipe with two 2 1/2 sections.The stock pipe has pinched pipes and as you can see the new ones don't.
